The WestendProjekt is a group of jazz musicans based in Munich (Germany) and is stylistically rooted in Contemporary Jazz. The musical frame is set by parameters such as directness, simplicity, reduction, clear form and structure, melos and emotion.
This is achieved by five musicians contributing their various experiences in Jazz, Free Music, Classical Music, Latin and Funk to form an individual bandsound. The result: transparent and timeless music of a beautifully balanced quintet
